This bike is in excellent condition and have been carefully maintained and garaged since new and this color combination was the most popular choice for the 1979 model. Kick start this Bonneville with one or two kicks. 1979 was the first year Triumph utilized electronic ignition and I installed a manual choke advance (chromed) on the handle bar to make starting even easier. Only 5,577 original miles and the paint and chrome glisten. There are some small marks on the tank and a small ding in the right tailpipe. None are significant or a detraction from the overall appearance. Yes, it's 34 years old and what a classic! I paid $7,000 5 years ago from a collector and spent close to $1K spiffing her up with a number of things, including a new battery, manual choke, new clutch and a tune up all performed by a shop specializing in classic British motorcycles. I don't have room left in my garage for a bike so it's got to go.
