Up for auction is a 1970 Ford Torino GT Convertible, 351-4V Cleveland, Auto, AC, power front disc brakes. Fresh off a complete restoration. There were only 3,939 GT convertibles made, of those only 861 were ordered with the 351 Cleveland engine, 674 had automatic transmissions, of those only 12 had special paint, 3 of them had AC and only 1 of them were ordered with F70X14 whitewall tires. That is this car. The car was resto-moded with hooker headers, Edelbrock intake and carb. Stainless Steel 2 1/2" Magnaflow Exhaust with X pipe.The trunk lid is off a Torino fastback. It has a pioneer stereo head , subwoofers and speakers The car was stripped down to the metal, any rusted panels were replaced with new metal. Then sprayed with self-etching primer, epoxy primer then polyurethane enamel. It has all new suspension front and back. Engine, trans and rear end were all professionally rebuilt. The convertible top is new with new glass window, hydraulic hoses and cylinders. New BF Goodrich Radial T/A's with Magnum 500 wheels all brand new.
