Vehicle Detail

I bought the car in the Summer of '11 and have done some needed maintenance and upgrades since. In the last two years, I have had the universal joints replaced, carb rebuilt, new distributor, new plugs & wires, turn signal mechanism, and a few other nick nacks. I've put in a high flow Edelbrock water pump, new DeWitt aluminum radiator, Flow Masters exhaust, and Patriot ceramic headers (d-port for a future ZZ4). I've also had the rear wheel bearing replaced, the brakes balanced, full and complete alignment, replaced all the power steering hoses, and all the knuckle joints. Most of my mechanical, oil changes, and repairs have been through Mid City's Corvette in Hurst and I can supply invoices if you'd like. The Mid City Corvette guys are great, I'd highly recommend them. The motor is not original, but it's the same as the year of the car (or there abouts). It runs great and is super reliable! This car is just asking for a new ZZ4! The transmission is the original 3 speed auto. The L82 comes with the larger T400 transmission. It shifts strong! The head lights are a little lazy, but they work. The interior is tan and is showing some age. I think a little TLC would go far. I put in a new radio/cd player and speakers. Nothing fancy - but it does the trick. The clock doesn't work which is typical of the C3, but everything else does. Unfortunately, I don't have the original radio. Rubber seals are in decent shape for their age. I put on new BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires - they have maybe 10K on them, and they look great on the aluminum rims and helps with the classic look. (Some of the pictures show the older tires prior to replacing). The car has been repainted, and the paint is in decent shape. It shines real well, though there are some scratches in the hood and fender. With the aluminum rims (which are in great shape) and a wash, it's hard to complain about the paint. I don't think the car has been hit - it's straight as can be for fiberglass. I get tons of compliments - I even have had a few folks come up and take pictures - it's a head turner... The T-Tops mechanisms work, and I have T-Top bags so you can put them in the back at a moment notice! The A/C is not working as the condenser has been removed and will need to be replaced if you want it to work again. I have the compressor and all the duct work so it can be functional again. The bird cage is in good shape - I've not seen any sign of rust or injury. Email me for more information or questions. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as I have…
