Up for sale is my 1985 Honda V65 Sabre in nearly MINT condition with only 17,480 miles. All original paint with no scratches, marks or dings. Bike has never been laid over and there is no rust either. The wheels have no marks or scratches and are all original too. This bike has not been restored to look like this, it truly is in the same new looking and running condition just like in 1985. The bike came out of the personal collection of the owner of Princeton Honda in KY. The dealer principal kept the bike inside the dealership as his personal bike/trophy. I have his business card and will give to the new owner should you wish to reach out to him. I am the 3rd owner of this bike. The 2nd owner bought it from the dealer principal back in 2007 and I purchased it in late 2011 up in Raleigh from owner # 2. I have his contact information too which I will pass on to the new owner. The seat was replaced by the dealer with a very nice leather Corbin with blue trim to accent the color on the bike. The black pipes were also replaced by the dealer with chrome Genuine Honda factory pipes which accents the bike much better. The dealer principal had the engine covers, radiator trim, and rear seat handle polished to its natural aluminum (removed the black) to accent the bike better too. He also installed a 2-line auxiliary LHP top end oiling kit. The installation was done in a nice neat and picky manner including braided hoses. This provides increased filtered oil up to the cams to allow better lubrication. A new front tire was installed less than 200 miles ago along with a New Gel Type Battery. When I took it into the Honda dealership here in Tampa, the Service Manager stated it was the cleanest newest looking V65 he has ever seen and everyone in the shop was admiring it’s incredible condition. All the fluids have been replaced including oil, clutch, brake fluids, hypoid gear oil, radiator, along with new plugs. Bike comes with the original owner’s manual, 2 keys, a Clymer Book manual, original toolkit, and an original 1985 dealer brochure. If you are looking for a mint condition V65, this is it. There are probably only a handful left in this condition and they rarely come up for sale. You will not find a nicer mint condition 85 V65 anywhere on the market right now. It took me two years to find this one in this condition. I'm only selling it because I have 4 bikes and I need to part with one due to interests in acquiring another bike. I will be happy to show the bike by appointment for inspections and most weekends are available. Absolutely no joy rides will be allowed unless you have the cash on hand to buy the bike. Bike starts right up and can be driven anywhere just like when it was new. You can easily fly into Tampa (I will be happy to pick you up at the airport if you choose) and ride it back to your residence.
