This auction is for a used Forest Green 1996 Discovery I. I have owned for about 9 months and have enjoyed til yesterday. The engine has developed a knock on the way home from work, and I am not willing to put the money into it. I did immediately pull over and called a wrecker, to have it brought home.This is NOT open for test drives I will demonstrate the EVERYTHING works in the drive train. This is a strong offroad vehicle is someone would want to make a project out of it. or fix it for hunting camp. Or it would be a great parts car. No cracks in the glass and tires have over half life left. Rims are stright and true no dents. -the transmission has had a full K&B flush and cleaning.-replaced transmission fluid and filter -replaced fuel filter -replaced transfer case fluid -replaced engine oil and filter -replaced power steering fluid -replaced differential fluid (front and rear) -flushed and bled brake system -flushed coolant system -flushed brake system Also has recently had new plugs and 8mm sealed plug wires put on it. Everything else works fine on it. A/C blows cold and heat will cook you. It will crank and run, but I am not going to drive it to prevent further damage if there is any. Mileage is 164K and the odometer is true. Never been wrecked and I am a non smoker. Body panels are straight with regular paint fading. I have all service records from the date of purchase in 1996 til now. I also have a full repair manual and a box of extraneous parts for replacement or upgrade. I do hold a clear title on it.
