General Description I bought this car when I was 14 years old and my dad and I renovated it quite a bit. It is by no means a show car, but a lot of care went in to taking care of it and restoring it. I would love to keep this car, but I'm moving out of the country and simply can't bring it with me. Most items are relatively new, having been replaced within the last ten years. The original interior is in fair to good condition. Parts have been replaced and restored, but we never finished. When I bought the car, it had eight different layers of paint on it. All of the paint was stripped off by hand, some body work was done, and the car was freshly painted. There are a few problems with the car, mostly due to the fact that it hasn't been used much lately. The transmission seals have a slight leak because of this. The gas tank has patches on it, so it should probably be replaced sometime soon. The alternator light comes in intermittently, but the alternator itself (which is fairly new) hasn't actually been a problem for us. The hydraulics for the convertible top should be replaced. They work, but they're very slow. I have many receipts and documents pertaining to the parts replaced and work completed if you would like to have those when buying the car. I also have a few old photographs of the work taking place. There is a different set of headers currently on the car, but we're happy to also give you the ones that came with the new engine.
