Vehicle Detail
A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!!!!!!!! The National Automotive & Truck Museum is once again happy to offer for sale a beautiful vehicle from it's collections. This vehicle is a 1967 Chevrolet Impala that was donated to the museum years ago and is just now off of display. It is far better to have a vehicle running and driveable than to let it set in storage. Therefore we are offering this car for sale. The odometer show only 13,832 miles on it. At time of donation we were told that is original, but since I cannot confirm or prove wrong I will have to sell it as the possibility the odometer has rolled over. Condition shows good enough to be original, but I just cannot say. This car was owned by a gentleman that always placed additional bumper guards on the original bumpers. This does take away from the originality, but they can be removed. The interior is in great shape with no known tears, flaws or problems. The engine is very sound. It does not smoke, use or leak oil. The automatic transmission shifts very nice also. All five tires are in great shape and have many miles left on them. All five wheel covers are with the car. This is a four door and in some of the photos you will see they are not shut properly for the picture. They do close and fit fine. Also you will not in one of the shots the hood is ajar. It too fits down fine. The only flaw known on the body is on the left rear quarter panel where it was scraped and needs to be rubbed out and the stainless needs to be redressed. On the drivers side by where the two doors meet I do see some signs of rust starting to form. Again this should be an easy fix. Other than that this car will drive out for many years to come. We do have this car For Sale here at our museum so we reserve the right to end the auction early if it should sell here.
