The exterior color is deep slate pearl. produced only for the 1998 model year, having more luxury and performance than that of the regular Limited. Chrysler manufactured nearly a quarter million Grand Cherokees in 1998. Of those, fewer than fifteen thousand (1%) were 5.9s. It has A Magnum 5.9 L V8 engine with an output of 245 hp and 345 lb·ft of torque, going from zero to 60 mph in only 7.3 seconds. (Motor Trend said 6.8 seconds), making it the quickest SUV available that year. It was the most expensive GC also. The performance has been surpassed by Jeep only with the introduction of the 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, which housed a 6.1 L Hemi Engine. The 5.9 was named the 1998 4x4 vehicle of the year by Petersen's 4-Wheel & off road magazine. It has a stronger trans & transfer case than the other jeeps also. truck sat for 3 years before i got it. i bought it and went over the entire truck for any problems it may have. all suspension zerks were greased, ebay cold air intake with new cone filter. the dash bezel is broken by the radio. the check engine light is on. code reads O2 sensor problem, outside is pretty clean the bottom of the drivers door is rusted. new pcv valve and pcv breather valve, the speakers crackle, the volume knob on the stereo dvd player falls off but still controls the volume just fine, the driver side mirror leaks, the spare tire hold down is missing so the spare is laying in the back, new wiper blades on it. the drivers seat back doesnt move but the electric lumber still works. original rare 5.9L limited grand cherokee charcoal metallic outside black leather inside like new all terrain tires on limited 16" wheels heated front seats power moon roof aftermarket cd player factory limited rear roof mounted speaker sound bar full time 4x4 automatic trans inside is nice the outside has some small dings in the driver side back door the hood has hail damage and rust in the front lip, rest of truck is nice mopar brush guard with brand new 6inch offroad lamps 5.9 limited hood with open air vents tow package it does have 2 inch spacers on all 4 corners to fit the bigger tires motor had full tune up. plugs wire set distributor cap and rotor oil/filter change new rear brake rotors and pads new front cv shafts new front pads new front sway bar end link new thrush muffler the truck blue books at 4700 in good condition the truck will be sold as is where is there is no refunds or returns. ive only owned the truck for a couple weeks so i dont know much about it. no warranties implied. clear title in my name. ive listed everything i know about the truck. im currently driving it as my everyday driver so the miles are subject to change. i do have a full history from the owner before with every owner from brand new where it came from who sold it and how many miles were on it at time of sale. the only thing the truck needs is a set of shocks and it would be ready to go anywhere. sorry for everyone who was watching the truck before, the add was being trolled by someone who had no life other than to ruin other peoples listings with nonsense. please be a serious interested party if you have something negative to say go bother someone else. people like you should be removed and banned from ebay for giving online sales a bad name.On Mar-03-13 at 14:42:58 PST, seller added the following information: the o2 sensor light is on becuase there is no cat or o2 installed, this was before i was in posession of the truck. so if your in a state that requires emissions testing, NO CATALYTIC CONVERTER. and no im not putting one on.
