Enclosed is a pciture of my wife. She was diagnosed in December with clear cell carcenoma cancer. Feb/1st they removed a 5 lb tumor along with her right kidney and adrenal gland. I am selling this truck in an effort to help raise money for the chemo drugs [ Sutent ] they have prescribed. ( 10K for each prescription ! ) I have the reserve set as low as i can on this truck. And no, i will not end it early or make a side deal. We do not have even enough funds to pay the $3 K co-pay! So, here we are, selling this remarkable old truck. I have a clear title on it, with a signed bill of sale from the last owner. It is literally ready to be signed over to you. NO! I am not implying that we want $3 K for this truck. First the good. This is a 1970 C-10 Fleetside ( deluxe trim) with a 350 ci engine and a four speed ( in the floor ) transmission. The engine runs very well and the transmission shifts very good. No smoke on the engine. Dual exhaust with no leaks. New radiator, new fuel pump, carb is relatively new. Front tires are decent. Power bucket seats. Brakes are fully functional. Truck will cruise on the interstate at 65 MPH without laboring. The mediocre: Enigne needs all new pan gaskets and oil seals. Bed has a small rust through spot. Drivers front fender is somewhat wrinkled. Wiring is in a disarray; but the truck runs fines anyway! And the lights and blinkers do work as well. Drivers rocker panel is totally rusted through. ( see pics) Steering needs adjusted but is very driveable as is. Do not know the actual mileage! The bad: We need to sell this truck to help raise money for my wifes chemo! Please ask any questions ahead of time. I will answer them to the best of my knowledge and ability in as timely a manner as humanly possible. They show the engine & engine compartment, the rust damage, and the wrinkled front fender etc... Also please note that the door windows will NOT roll up or down! The drivers door armrest is very bad & the passenger door armrest is missing. The dash pad is very bad. The front tires have about 20% to 25% tread life and the rear are closer to 15%.
