This firebird has under 90,000 original miles and was stored in a garage most of the time.It has been in storage in a garge for the past ten years or so.The interior has a bit of a musty smell from being closed up for so long.This car is driveable .The material on the headliner has come loose.The engine runs well after sitting for such a long time. The transmission seems to be a little sluggish. A good tranny service and flush would probly help that.There is no rust on this car or bondo work All the body panels are in excellent condition. The headlights operate nicely .I think this would make a great project car .It has a set of original rims to go with it.On Feb-24-13 at 08:47:15 PST, seller added the following information: I started this baby up today after she has sat for about 2 months in the cold.A few pumps of the pedal and she fired right up.I took her for a quick ride down the road. The car runs and drives great .I would not be afraid to drive this car on the road today.With that said A good maintanance check and fluid change and this car is a good driver.If you are one of those guys looking for a good restoration project it doesnt get much better than this.The body and floor pan on this car is fantastic.If it were me I would just change out the interior to something a bit more modern and comfortable and that would be it.The 2.8 liter engine runs smooth no weird noises or anything like that. The exaust system is in great shape.The hood struts are weak and should be replaced.when you open the hood they are not stong enough to keep it up anymore this seems common with these cars.The rear hatch struts seem to be fine.basically everything works on this car with a little messen around she would be a sweet ride.It even has a set of craigers on it.Your chances of finding another firebird like this are pretty slim.
