Ask your wife, mom, dad, husband, or significant other for permission to buy BEFORE you buy please. 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport Fastback. Power Steering, A/C (134a and works), Automatic, A/M radio, Manual Brakes Disc Front/Drum Rear. Mileage is probably original as most of the documents support it, along with condition of the car. Tight steering, runs, drives, stops, goes as it should. I have located a different 72 GTSFB to build as a driver and a 1970 Torino convertible to also rebuild as a driver. I need garage space to work on them, that's why I'm selling. I'm not desperate to sell, and as you can see by my ebay handle I am a Torino guy, I will not accept a lowball offer. Auction format sale, with a reserve that is reasonable for the car...you can't paint it or rebuild it for the reserve, that is certain. But if you want to make an offer to end the auction early contact me via ebay. Owner reserves right to end auction at any time. I looked for this car for 15 years. You will have a difficult time finding a 72 GTSFB laser stripe car in this condition, in any color. In this color combination they are very very rare. Comes with restoration documents from prior owner, complete ownership history, original documents like warranty metal tag, etc. I have only changed fluids/filters since ownership and installed a new starter/battery. This is not a 100% perfect car, but it is very close. If you are into Torinos you will love this car. Don't bid on it if you don't plan to be a respectful caretaker. Ask questions if you have them. It is a very well kept and babied machine that is driven regularly, but not too far. Short drives in the subdivision and quick blasts down the local freeway in nice weather only, along with a car show now and then. Mileage: 82700ish. I drive it a little so it will be +/- 100 miles Body: 63R Color: 2B Trim: FW Trans: X Axle: 2 DSO: 21 Title: Clear Texas title in my name. Comes with keys, bill of sale, Texas title, restoration documents, prior owner contact information. H Code. But prior owner rebuilt 351C for performance. Head work, Mallory ignition, headers, Edelbrock 4 bbl carb/Edelbrock Performer intake, full dual exhaust with H pipe, chrome underhood pieces, custom ground cam, etc etc etc. Runs very very well. Solid second and chirps third. Currently has a 3.70 locker but comes with original 2.75 gear. Solid all the way through the rpm range. A/C has been updated to R134 and works. Painted in 1991 and garaged since. These are OEM lasers, not repops...they reflect as they should. Paint is a mile deep. I have owned it 6 years and have not waxed it. It only gets driven on dry days and I have only washed it three times. Prior owner cared for it the same way. It does have some very very minor paint blemishes, but considering it was painted 22 years ago it looks awesome. Pictures do not do it justice. Interior has some slight yellowing and sun damage on the rear trim panels. I will include a set of rear trim panels that are in good shape and can be dyed. Some very minor imperfections here and there, but as you can see from the pictures it is very nice. I tinted the windows with a film tint to save the interior from the Texas sun, it is easily removable. I have included some OEM parts in the trunk. The car's original 2.75 rear gear. Replacement OEM valvecovers/aircleaner assy. Replacement OEM interior quarter trim pieces. OEM lower control arms for the rear end since the car has been outfitted with adjustables. OEM complete distributor including cap, wires, points, etc. Other stuff that I can't remember right now, but the trunk is full of parts for the next owner. This is an AS-IS sale. Car runs and looks great. Buyer should have an independent inspection performed. Ask questions if you have them. I have 100s of pictures and will send them to you upon request.
