1978 DODGE MONACO A38 POLICE PACKAGE CAR Former Virginia county sheriff vehicle My daily driver for the last year and a half. I have replaced: Brake booster Brake master cylinder Brake calipers and hoses 4 shocks Fuel pump Starter Rear engine mount Exhaust system Valve cover gaskets Distributor cap,rotor,plugs,ignition wires Tires Edelbrock Carb in place of Carter Thermo quad Radiator hoses Fuel sending float Fuel tank removed and flushed The 140 mph speedometer is broken, not installed Period correct am/fm radio with brackets Windshield is cracked / can't see it in pictures Overall the car is solid The floors and trunk floor are in good shape There is some rust in the rear 1/4' and doglegs I will include in sale: a crack free dash pad a right front fender repair sections for the rear fender and doglegs This is a 35 year old project car I have used it everyday up to 90 mph on the freeway It is a great candidate for restoration, I have handled the mechanical aspect. It is time for cosmetics The tan civilian sedan is a parts car that can be stripped to aid in the restoration of the police car. Additional fees would apply
