Parked my MGB after the summer season and has been sitting on my blacktop driveway since! Just have not had the opportunity to put it back on the road. After these past years watching it get in worse condition have decided to see if I can find a good home for it! The plastic rear window has finally let go because of being outside so I covered it to hold the weather, as can be seen in the photos. Also, surface rust has started to spread and a couple of small holes have broken through. The floorboards, truck and frame are all solid, painted wheels; door jams and truck are in great shape and still looking great! Inside is in good shape for a 1977, needs some work to get it back to mint. But the gauges all work even the clock! Needs both horn and directional control arms replaced, painted panels, trim and headrests with upholstery paint and covered the seats with black covers; I just liked the black interior look better. It has held up great for these many years but need to be redone or replaced. The dashboard is in great shape and so is the windshield. Rugs are in good shape; also have the tops half cover, with bars, original jack, tech manual and a parts manual and other things. Original block/head was replaced when I spun a bearing. Had the original parts put back on, also new clutch/pressure plate. Needs some repairs new top and a paint job. Haven't started for some time but always starts and runs. Will be getting it back into condition this spring if not sold! It does crank over with no problem and I know I can start it if I spent a little time on it. As said, I know with a little work this 1977 MGB is worth every dollar! Remember the greatest thing about this 'B' is the Electronic Overdrive, there is nothing like it! It is a solid Auto that would make a great Restoration Project!
