For sale I have a very very good condition, unmolested 1983 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. As far as I can tell the only modifications are the wheels and tires and the battery is an optima red top. The Trans Am has been spoiled its entire life as you can see from the undercarriage photos of the car. I have driven it very little since I took ownership, every mile made me feel guilty about the potential of having something break. This is why I am selling it because I fear having to modify it more, and I also have a tendency to change things on cars and somehow I have been able to keep my hands away from damaging its originality. If you want a nice clean original car this is one of very few left that hasn't been toyed with by some boy racer this is for you. Local pickup only with cash on pickup. I am more than happy to bring you for a drive in it to prove it is in excellent condition, however I will not allow others to drive it until they have won it in auction. On Dec-31-12 at 11:26:49 PST, seller added the following information: Just wanted to inform those bidding the shifter knob is a universal style shifter knob I had to put in since the factory shift knob was missing a few pieces, it is intended for manual transmissions and has no button to engage it into gear, it just slides into gear now. I am interested in trades, so let me know what you have. I have no interest in anything with rust but I do not mind a project.
