1964 PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE Outstanding original true survivor from single family owner in dry climate. Not prone to rust like Eastern states. Original paint shows well Great factory tinted glass, (blue) Very nice chrome and stainless mouldings Rare factory Air conditioning & heat Interior original and showing some wear, but is complete and comfortable in current condition Rust free doors, floors, rockers, fenders, hood and deck lid. However, some rust does exist and is visable below driver's side of windshield in firewall and there are some small and easily repairable spots in the trunk floor. Tires, wheels, brakes, water pump, radiator, and major tune up are recent. Note, the original tires, color keyed wheels, and dog dish hubcaps are included with sale. Stated mileage is believed to be actual. All guages and speedometer are working with some noise from speedometer cable when cold. Take a look and you will find the automobile as described. I gained this information after spending an unreasonable amount of time trying to explain what I was trying to do to someone that was so far out of town that she did not speak or understand english well at all. I will go back to plan "A" and email each of you the photos you asked for and the ones others requested as well. That way everyone will have full information. Anyone near enough is welcome to come by for a personal inspection. As far as questions asked, I will state what I can remember. More than one of you asked, Which V8? The engine is the 318cid Polyspherical design, sometimes called the "Semi-Hemi" or wide block and is capable of 402 cudic inches. How bad is the fuel consumption? On the road expect just shy of 20mpg. Last time I checked was on a trip to Knoxville and back and the average was 19.6mpg. Is the transmission a two or three speed? The transmission is a three speed automatic with push button gear selection. Works great. The following is a list of items either serviced, reconditioned, or replaced within the last year. Remember this is a forty-eight year old used car. Any item not listed may be original. 1. Alternator upgrade to 55amp 2. Radiator, remove, rod & repair 3. Water pump, replace w/new 4. Coolant hoses & coolant, replace 5. Fuel tank, remove, clean & reseal 6. Carb, remove, rebuild and install 7. Spark plugs, replace 8. Ignition wires, replace 9. Ignition coil, replace 10. Distributor, replace w/remanufactured 11. Brakes, replaced prior to my purchase 12. Rear universal joint, replace 13. Rear axle bearings & seals, replace 14. Wiper blade refills, replace 15.
