Up for auction a great vintage motorcycle in excellent condition! 1976 BMW R90/6 ,1436 current miles since complete rebuild Just under 30,000 miles before rebuild. Bike was completely taken apart,painted and restored by a bmw mechanic. Powder coated swingarm, lower forks,brake calipers and engine cover parts. cylinders and pistons/heads off a1979-81 R100. I have done the following since owning the bike: Rebuilt forks complete with bumpers,seals and progressive springs, Painted and pin striped the fenders, air filter (new) , Rebuilt the dell'otto carbs completely with o-rings,gaskets,etc., Re fitted stock handlebars,new high bmw mirrors,timing and valve adjust with all fluids fresh , new plugs ,brake pads,brake fluid flushed. The bike had the dyna ignition booster,dual front disc brakes/handlebar mounted brake reservour,luftmeister pipes,dual spark heads. Contact Tim @ 775-691-9754 if any ?... There is a small dent in the gas tank really to small to be seen in a photo on left side/back and a really slight indention on the front,lower right side. The travel bag does not go with the sale of the bike. When I bought the bike it was 80% restored as a cafe style with no rear fender,lowered bars,bar-end mirrors,cafe style seat and billet turn signals. I got back to stock as much as possible while still keeping the great style and custom look..check out the pictures. !!!! The engine badge is off a R90s...Had it on when I got the bike.. I also had the local bmw dealer check the bike out and just spent 250.00 dollars on complete tune up/compression check /valve and carb adjust! They commented this is the fastest r90 they have seen or worked on..
