CONDITION: I have pointed out in my pictures any real noticeable imperfections in the paint. There are fine scratches, and stone chip touchups that you would normally expect on a 12 year vehicle.(SEE PICTURES) This is a NON-SMOKER, NEVER SMOKED in vehicle The interior is near flawless, and it still smells new. Two tone factory R/T leather and suede trim. The drive train is very smooth and quiet for a all wheel drive vehicle. All maintenance records are with this vehicle, and all work was performed by a 5 Star MOPAR dealership. If ANYTHING was not working, making strange noises, it was repaired. No expense spared on this vehicle, ever! This is a 4 wheel drive vehicle with extremely low miles. If you are not familiar, or have never owned one, at some speeds you get drive train whine. Hardly noticeable, but some folks have the rear end gears replaced/changed, and they end up with a real noisy problem. Ask any mechanic before you bid on this exceptional vehicle. This Durango 5.9 R/T runs smooth and quiet! Tires have about 12K miles, and just in the last year over $5000. spent on scheduled maintenance i.e, brakes, front calibers, all fluids changed, differentials, transmission, transfer case, power steering fluid, brake fluid, new belt, battery. ALL FLUIDS REPLACED WITH NEW! Check engine light came on about 2 months ago. The computer was faulty from age not miles. Brand new computer was installed and programmed. ($900.) NO EXPENSE spared ever on this beauty. Another known fact regarding a seal that begins to fail between the heat/ac box inside vehicle, and the fire wall. When the ac is running the water leaks inside and under the passenger side floor carpet. It can be a mess, if not caught in time and repaired the right way. The Dakota's and Durango's between 1999-2004 have this same seal. The seal on this vehicle has been replaced. BECAREFUL BEFORE PURCHASING THESE MODELS. ASK HARD QUESTIONS BECAUSE TO REPAIR IT AT THE DEALERSHIP COSTS $2,000! LOTS OF LABOR. THERE IS NO QUICK FIX! Another known problem is the power seat tracks in these same models. If they are not adjusted often through out their life, they will not lock into place properly when adjusted. This vehicles front two bucket tracks have that situation.They are secure and locked in place when adjusted all the way back. When slid forward there is alittle play. A used track system (1) is included with the sale. If you try to purchase new tracks and repair, the new track for 1 seat cost $1200. That does not include labor. Someone who works with these power seat tracks can repair them. I am 6' and my wife is 5'4", and we don't have a problem with these seats. No smells or stains of any kind on carpet, door panels, or seats! FEATURES: This is a 3 row seat model which is very roomy and functional. The dual controlled heat and air conditioning work flawlessly , as does the heated front bucket seats. The roof rack cross members also are included with sale. The original factory floor mats are also. included and in great condition. NO MOONROOF. , HISTORY: Original owner died over a year ago. His family sold it to a local dealer in the Fort Myer, FL area. The dealer sold it to a local wholesaler, and they in turn listed for sale on EBAY in 2011. I am just a MOPAR lover. I'm retired military and wanted one of these when they were over $40K! I purchased a condo and only have a 2 car garage. Oneof my toys has to go. SHIPPING AND PAYMENT: A $500.00 non-refundable deposit at time of purchase. Seller has given a honest and precise description of said vehicle. An interested person, questioned the TRIM as being identified as a SLT, this was entered in error. This person also mentioned that only the 4.7 V8 was offered in a SLT. Some background regarding this was looked into, which indicated that a SLT model could have a 5.9 V8, and some models did that were not R/T TRIMS. Just a little history lesson for car guys.
