Wow what a find, not perfect but mostly orginal Rancharo from the past. 99% rust free!! Recently purchased from a charity auto auction, and was donated by the orginal owner. I have not done any repairs or mods to the car. What you see is exactly how I bought it. Here is the good, Very straight body, no signs of being in a accident. Newly rebuilt 289 engine, lots of performance add ons. runs perfect. New brakes all around, new fuel pump, orginal owner manual. Orginal wheel covers. Orginal interior, no dash cracks, orginal AM radio, mint headliner, complete inside, all trim is intact but the FORD on the hood. Runs and drives, power brakes, power steering, Although all the AC conponents are missing under the hood, it is a factory AC car, and all the interior parts are intact, so it can be made to work again. This Rancharo has not been restored, and would be a great car to make a show quality classic from. OR sort out the car to make a great retro cruiser. There will be repairs, this car is 47 years old! I am NOT a mechanic, but looked over the car and found some things that would need attn. The following is not a subitution for a mechanical inspection of the car. You should make arrangment to look it over for yourself. PS leaks, Trans. looks rebuilt, but has a minor leak (looks like the pan gasket), power brakes need the Vac. hooked up. Some rust pin holes on drivers floor pan (see pics) Rust on lower edge of tail gate, and a little on the lower FWD seam in the bed. Please if you have any questions contact me for answers. A few dings on the body, worst on the front of the fenders. looks really presentable as is.
