It's not every day you run across a Chevy 3500 Extended Heavy Duty Passenger Van that was factory ordered to be an under-CDL Bus. A vehicle like this is a great value for anyone needing to move people and only has 21k original miles!! Don't wait until the last minute to place your bid. Most dealers would list this truck with a hefty reserve, but not Valley Auto Sport.....we've got the best merchandise and no reserves. Now for a few details. To the best of our knowledge, this truck has had only one previous owner since new. It was originally ordered and used by the Delaware Boy Scouts of America to haul scouts to and from activities. When given the chance to purchase a truck like this, we snatched it right up. It is very rare to find one with virtually no miles and in great condition. This one was special ordered with seating for 10 and no passenger front seat intentionally. It also came without the rear row of seats to allow room for cargo. It would be perfect for use by a hotel, rental car company, ski lodge, church, or something similar. You can haul 9 people (plus a driver) with ease and still have the heavy duty specs and room to carry a good bit of cargo or luggage. If the van had more seats, your driver would be required to have a special license, but in this configuration, that is not needed. However, if you want to, it would not be difficult to add the front seat and another row in the back for a 12 passenger configuration. With only 21k miles , this workhorse Vortec V8 is just starting to be broken in. Because it is the 1-ton version, it comes with the powerful 6.0L V8 which is an absolute powerhouse. It is known to be virtually bulletproof and has a great history of few problems over the years.....we've seen quite a few with 200-300k miles that are still going strong! Back in the cargo area, you'll find lots of room for whatever "stuff" you need to haul. It also comes fairly well loaded with options like front and rear heat & A/C, cruise control, power windows & locks and a tilt steering wheel. This will allow you to drive in comfort and keep your passengers happy as well. We don't see many like this in the used market, and the new owner will get a "people hauler" for a great price .....you will save a bunch of money buying here. The first owner has paid all of the initial depreciation hit, so you have the opportunity to make a great buy on a great truck with virtually no miles.....this will be a tremendous value. This truck will likely be sold for thousands of dollars less than at your local dealer, and I'll bet he doesn't have one this nice. This is the right truck with the right specs and the right miles. The body looks great with no noticeable damage other than a very little normal wear and tear. Inside, the Gray seats are in great shape with no holes, tears or other issues. It is easy to tell that it has not been abused or overworked and obviously barely driven. All of the interior features function normally and we can find no mechanical or drivability issues. It is within it's current service interval and appears to be absolutely ready to go to work immediately. You don't have to waste any time on reconditioning or service because everything seems to be up-to-date. It is sitting on size 245/75 R-16 tires with about 70% tread life remaining on all 4 wheels. Listen folks, you will have a hard time finding a higher quality used passenger van anywhere being sold in an absolute auction format. Somebody is going to get a great deal on this truck!!
