We do not need it anymore, all our moving is done, work has been finished and now it just sits in the driveway. 1973 Chevy Cheyenne Special (long bed) Solid 454 engine It is a old truck, would make a great classic ride or use it as is. Daily drive now, but it does need some work. Almost all original truck ! This truck would make a outstanding project for someone to breathe some new life into it. I wanted to do this myself, but with 4 kids, work and school, I really do not have the time. Remember the truck is almost 40 years old. has a few dings, a little rust on the door and could just use some TLC. The issues it has can be fixed pretty easy, or the truck could be parted out. (I AM NOT PARTING IT OUT) Transmission issue. Some people say it needs a new pump, others say it is something worse. I use it now, drive in L1 and have no issues once it is up and going. Drives great on the highway. In town it is fine to, but as I said it slips a bit. I believe it is the pump, which is a weekend project and 50.00 to fix. Blinker bulbs replaced (one of them is out) Engine smokes some, but I put low grade walmart oil in. . ..my mistake, did not smoke before that, did after. I have not changed the oil out since doing it. Worse case there is new seals. 50.00 bucks and a afternoon to fix those. Has some drips. But nothing that is bad, unless you call putting a quart of oil in every month terrible. Power steering is every two months. A few nicks and dings, its almost 40 years old. I am almost 40 as well and I have some nicks and dings too. The issues are minor and would expect them on a truck for this age. Clean and clear title We let the plates run out in October and just do not use it anymore. Great find for someone that wants a drivable project. Or leave it as it is an have a good solid daily driver. Makes for a great work truck. (I bought this about a year ago when we moved to help move our house.) THIS IS GREAT TO DRIVE AROUND NOW IN OR USE AS A PROJECT. This really is a great truck but it is time to move onto another family.
