Vehicle Detail
I have a real nice 1969 Bronco. Newer paint, looks real nice. Somebody had been working on this for the last four or five years, just kind of tinkering with it. After they painted it, they never did put the emblems on, the driver window did get busted out (I have a replacement window ready to be put in), I'm no expert on this, I can just tell you what I see and try to explain everything as best as I can. EXTERIOR - Like I said, newer paint, it looks like aftermarket rockers, nice after market bumpers, front grill piece has some dings and dents for some reason that would be real easy to fix - you can call me and I will explain it to you, the passenger window rolls up and down, somebody broke the driver's side window out, but I do have a replacement window that would just need to be put in, winshield is not cracked, luggage rack on hard top - I don't know if that is factory or not, nice wheels and tires; lots of tread, 31 x 10.50 x 15s, overall the exterior of the car looks really nice; exterior stands real tall. DRIVETRAIN - I would guess that it is the original 302 2-barrel, 3 on the tree, no goodies; manual steering, manual brakes, but it runs and drives well. No leaks are apparent, if it leaks it has got to be minor if at all. I haven't driven it on long trips, but in town it does really well. Clutch is good. Brakes are good. Doesn't smoke. It has a good, solid drivetrain. INTERIOR - Dash has a new dash pad, dash in good shape, front seats are not all torn up, I don't know if they're factory there are seat covers on there now, the pans look dry, and are truck bedded - it doesn't look like they did that to try and hide anything, it just looks like they did it for preference; I don't see any rust in the pans, either it is a pretty rust free bronco overall or someone did some work to it. It's got one spot about an inch round in the engine compartment by the firewall, and then where a factory piece of sheet metal meets up to the bottom of the rocker, the factory sheet metal has minimal rust. I do have the rear seat as well, it is covered in extra parts for this bronco. It doesn't seem like there is a whole lot to these broncos. Obviously the car is almost done. It is not a show truck, or a full restoration. The old man that had it before just wanted a nice, driveable bronco. I took pictures of the pans on the bottom of the car and they look killer. On the inside kick panels there is not rust, just the spots that I mentioned that I can see have rust. There are a few things that you might have to do to the bronco. The driver window needs to be installed and put on the track, inner interior side panel, which I have - obviously you would want to put the window assembly in first, exterior emblems if wanted, and the windshield wiper assembly also needs to be put on, which I have as well. I took pictures of other extra parts that I have. It doesn't need a whole bunch, but it will need just a few small things to make the vehicle more complete; just some finishing touches. I have absolutely no problem going over the car. I will sit in front of the car as you ask questions if you want to help you out with your questions as much as I can. The car is sold as is and all sales are final, so please ask all your questions before purchasing. 303.638.6972
