This is a really nice truck, 1947 Chevy pick up sitting on a S10 frame with a 350 v8 and a 700R4 transmission.Posi rear end and front disc brakes. All new guages with bezel and new sending unitsAll new wiring harnessNew B&M ratchet shifterNew radiator with 2 electric fansNew Holley performance electric fuel pumpNew front and rear glass, door windows work and one looks to have a bullet hole. Chip Foose 22 inch wheels (light pitting)DVD/CD radio player New lights and LED under body lightsHeater works but the windshield no longer opensNew wiper motor with arm Mother nature did the body work and 66 years of being on the road. It continues to look incredible on the road. This is a patina truck/rat rod, It does have rust but still very solid for its age. Ive been told the metal used to build these trucks in the late 40's was a lot thicker than what was used in the 30's. Everything is bolted and strong, it does have small holes where the fenders meet the running boards, its not a problem but it could use a patch if you dont want to see it. I was thinking that using an old licence plate would look pretty cool but it doesn't bother me, it gives it character. Not many trucks like these are still around. A real head turner! I cant drive more than 10 minutes without getting a thumbs up or someone wanting to take a picture. Wisconsin title in hand. A lot of people say that it has to be a 46 but ive searched and have found that the 46 style carried over into the beginning of 47. S10 used was from the mid 80's with a V8 conversion done with approximately 20k miles on the engine and transmission since rebuilt. It does not have power steering but apparently it is an easy bolt on. I reserve the right to end the auction early if i sell it locally or have a change of heart and decide to keep this beauty.
