I'm selling this 1974 2002tii because I do not have the time to do the car justice and restore it at this time. This is a very late production car and the cars data is below. There were only 137 2002tii cars made for the U.S. after this one. The car has had most of the body work done and will need a little more work before it is ready to be painted. I sprayed some primer on some of the panels to keep them in good condition. Here is a list of the upgrades the car has currently. · 320i radiator · Hella H4 headlights · H & R springs- Lowering springs · Bilsteins front and rear · Electronic ignition-Petronix · Larger sway bars. · 5 speed conversion from a 320i. · 3.64 LSD from a 320i · Recaro seats · 325i fuel pump. · 325i sport cross spoke rims The car does have a salvage title although I cannot see the reason except the previous owner bought it through an auction and the ignition wires were cut making me believe it was a stolen recovery. It does not appear that it was ever hit hard anywhere and it does not appear that is was ever flooded. It does have some small rust near the pedal box and maybe some on the driver’s side rocker although not much can be seen. It has a very nice original carpet installed. There are holes cut into the trunk partition for speakers I would guess but they are no longer installed. The cold start system relay is not operative and the wiring is not complete. There is a button installed in the dash that will inject fuel for cold starting. The car runs well and has good power. The 5 speed shifts well but does have a slight whining sound from the transmission in some gears. I think this car would make a good project for anyone who would like one of the last 2002tii cars produced. It is totally drivable right now and I have used it as a daily driver for 9 months. If you add up all the upgrades that you would have to purchase that this car already has, I came up with $3000.00 to buy them all.
