Nice 1970 Chevy K-10 4 X 4. This truck restored/modified about 5-10 years ago. Has original 1970 cab with late 88-99 long wheel base bed. Engine is a small block 400 with Edelbrock Performer intake. Has Ramhorns exhaust manifold with new dual exhaust. Has a brand new rebuilt Turbo 400 automatic transmission with paperwork with less than 500 miles on it. Tires are 265/65R -15 with about 60% tread on aluminum sawblades wheels. Just in the past few weeks, I have changed the oil, put new headlights on, new radiator hoses and coolant, and spark plugs. I have just installed a Heavy - Duty headlight wiring harness. This replaces the stock wiring harness so you get the full 12+ volts of headlight power that you need. No more surging of the lights with the RPMs. I have also purchased a remote power lock kit that is specifically made for the 67-72 trucks. This comes with 2 remotes. I will try to install this prior to auction end. Odometer reads 28,989, but since its only a 5 digit odometer, is more like 128,989. I have no way of telling. I can tell you that it has been taken care of in the past 42 years. Mileage will go up as the auction goes on. I do not believe in letting cars and truck sit without being driven. Bodywise, the truck is a 20 footer, there is some cracked paint on the driver’s side front fender, a little dent on the driver’s side rear quarter panel right near the taillight, and some bubbling in the lower passenger side front fender near the door. The front bumper has a dent in it on the passenger side. The truck has had new floor panels and rockers put in sometime in the past. Frame is not rusty and has been taking care of. Bed has an older drop in bedliner that has some cracks in it. Also, the previous owner drilled a few hole in the bed and side rails, I am assuming for tie down points. The truck has a class 5 bumper rated to tow up to 10k lbs along with a receiver hitch as well. Both are very heavy duty and would be perfect for towing. It has a chrome cowl panel. It will probably need some new shocks and perhaps a steering stabilizer. Interior has the stock reupholstered bench seat, with black carpet. It has a B & M truck shifter in it. The gauge face has a few cracks in it. It has an aftermarket heater installed. All gauges work like they are supposed to. Behind the seat gas tank that looks like it has been replaced recently, it doesn’t leak or let any gas smells in the interior. All Air conditioning parts are still attached, except the compressor. It will need a new stereo if you wanted. Previous owner did add 3 point shoulder seatbelts, which were not standard in 1970. These belts are $300 a set! I have tried to describe the truck to the best of my ability; I might be pickier than some but not as bad as others. This is a decent truck for the year and would make a great daily driver. Not perfect by any means. But it is definitely in good shape. The only reason that I am selling it is that I already have another truck and I am trying to get my 1969 C-10 Suburban finished.
