You can do an internet search on John's Car conversions and see more about what went into making this timid little English convertible into a V-6 powered street sleeper. They offer a kit to neatly shoe horn a Buick V-6 engine and a beefy 5-speed transmission under the hood of this otherwise stock car.It is a very sanitary result and provides what would otherwise be a pretty slow car with a decent degree of horsepower and torque without sacrificing handling and braking capabilities. It even has a dual exhaust system! The majority of the car is very rust free and solid.Most everything on this TRIUMPH was in good working condition but it recently took a tap on the beak and the owner has decided to sell it as is. The headlights no longer retract. This is definitely a parts or project type of vehicle and will require some body and mechanical skills to put it back into proper working order. Finished up it should be a heck of a lot of fun to drive!
