Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Although this gorgeous black over tan E63 AMG has a salvaged title, it may be the best E63 AMG in the country! We painstakingly restored the car to near brand-new condition. This E63 AMG is a “no worries” car. The car is mechanically perfect, the body panels are straight and true, and no one can tell that the car was in an accident. You can buy this car in total confidence. The car is a real bargain, because it is so nice and we are offering it for way below market due to the branded title. It is a non-smoking, low mileage car. Mercedes-Benz freshened its E-Class for 2007. The front end got a more aggressive bumper and lower fascia, and the grille is mildly restyled as are the taillights, rear bumper, and side view mirrors. Inside there is a revised steering wheel and shifter. But it's what under the hood that has undergone the more dramatic changes. The E63 V8, built by AMG, makes an eye-popping 507-horsepower and 465 ft-lbs of torque. Helping out with both acceleration and improved fuel economy is the seven-speed automatic transmission. It's hard to tell which added more to the feeling of power-to-pass-at-will; the additional grunt of the new four-valve-per-cylinder engine, or the seven-speed's ability to place the engine in the fat part or the torque curve with just a nudge of the accelerator. The AMG V8 propels the E63 at an astonishing pace when asked to work at maximum efficiency. As impressive as its power numbers sound, they don't prepare you for the ferocity of the acceleration, which can move the E63 from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.3 seconds. The engine note that emanates from the four, chrome tipped exhaust pipes, is one of the most inspiring sounds on the road. As one would expect, the standard equipment list is lengthy. A sunroof, fog lamps, heated power mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, power seats, dual-zone climate control, a harmon/kardon LOGIC7 audio system with a six-disc CD changer, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are included in the base vehicle, as well as all the usual luxury car features. Mercedes-Benz has a reputation for building safe cars, and the E63 comes with a full complement of the expected safety items. Dual-stage front air bags are supplemented by side air bags in both the front and rear seats, plus head curtain bags protect in rollovers. Anti-lock brakes and stability control are also standard. New for 2007 is the PRE-SAFE assist system, which will cinch your belts, return your seat to optimal position and even close the windows and sunroofs when it senses an imminent collision. The E63 features AMG enhancements throughout, including a reprogrammed seven-speed transmission, stiffer suspension, larger wheels, performance tires, bigger brakes, heated seats, and various go-fast cues inside and out. It also has satellite radio standard. This car has most options, including adaptive cruise control, parking assist, xenon headlights, Bluetooth, and Keyless Go, among a host of other good things. The previous owner ran over something which set off the driver’s airbag and did some damage to the front of the car. We had the driver’s front airbag replaced by a Mercedes mechanic. Except for the front bumper and the radiator, all the other parts we replaced are genuine Mercedes parts. These are the oil cooler, air conditioning pump, engine oil cooler, and a portion of the left exhaust pipe. It took us a very long time to get all these parts from Mercedes. The previous owner’s insurance company realized that getting these parts would take a long time, so they declared the car “totaled,” meaning they would not have to pay for a rental car for the owner while the parts slowly arrived. This is why the car has a salvaged title. We bought the car from an auction house that sells such cars for car insurance companies. Ebay has provided an “AutoCheck” for this car, which is included herewith. Click on it and you can see the history of this car. Please note that the accident was so minor that it does not even show up on the report. The car has near perfect paint and interior. The car has passed an official California DMV inspection (required before any car with a branded title can be sold) and the usual smog test. It is a great car. It is a No Worries car. You can buy it in confidence. We dare you to find anything wrong with this car. Here are some of the features of his car: 6.3 AMG powerplant producting 500+ horsepower 7-speed Sportronic transmission with paddle shifters. Moonroof Satellite Navigation Heated and cooled sport leather and alcantara trimmed seats Alcantara headliner Harmon Kardon premium CD sound system Ipod input Bluetooth Two keys, manuals, tools, spare tire, jack, navigation disc, floor mats are all included This is a non-smoker car and smells almost brand new. Runs and drives like new with no mechanical issues. The tires are wearing and you will have to replace them within the year. Because the title is branded, we have significantly discounted this car. According to Kelley Blue Book, the suggested retail price of this car, not salvaged, is $37,400. Our price is $9,000 below that!! Please fly to Orange County (airport code is SNA) and drive it. We will meet you at the airport with the car. We promise that if you will look at and drive this car, you will be impressed and will wonder if it really is a salvaged car. You have to see this car and drive it! Who we are: Jon and Frank are two retired professionals who buy cars and fix them up for resale. Jon is a retired attorney, and Frank ran a bottling factory. Because we are both “car nuts” we formed a link and started this business. Our best result, to date, is this E63 AMG. Please take a look at the car. It really is superb. If you live in California, we are required to register the car for you, meaning we must collect sales tax and registration.
