FOR SALE 2002 Volkswagen Passat GLS Sedan 4-Door 1.8TURBO 5-Speed manual !!!! First and foremost. I am an 100% positive feedback seller on Ebay and I intend to keep it that way. I bought this car in Atlanta, GA for the summer only ( was a graduate student then and needed a car for my summer job in ATL during 2011) and ended up keeping it and driving it back to NYC. I finished grad school in 2012 and decided a car in NYC does not make sense. I will be 100% honest here because I don't intend to rip people off. THE CAR HAS ISSUES, BUT IT RUNS. What is wrong with the car:Check engine light on: It has an error that says it's the cat converter. ( I changed it but the light is still on).windshield is cracked ( see pic). They told me it wasn't a problem other then aesthetic.Engine stutters sometimes when you let go of the gas at around 2000 rpm. This, I think has to do with the check engine light being on.Airbag light is on. This I hear is very common in this cars. Also means that none of the steering wheel features work ( No Cruise control, NO HORN, NO SOUND SYSTEM CONTROLS).Driver's light was replaced because someone broke it while being parked in NYC. No major damage. ( SEE PICS).Door lock driver side. Someone tried to brake into the car in NYC. The lock still works but it us damaged. ( SEE PIC)I think the car has an antifreeze/coolant leak because it needs to be filled regularlyOther than that...car runs fine and I have driven it pretty much everywhere on the east coast (Maine, CT, Vermont, MASS etc) multiple times.CAR HAS A GEORGIA TITLE AND HAS NO LEGAL ISSUES WHATSOEVER. I think this is a good buy for someone who knows how to fix stuff and/or use it for parts. Unlike most of the stuff I sell on EBAY, I WILL NOT PROVIDE WARRANTY ON THIS CAR. YOU ARE BUYING THIS CAR AS IS! BUYER IS IN CHARGE OF PICKING THE CAR UP FROM MY PLACE IN MANHATTAN BID WITH CONFIDENCE!!!
