Up for auction is my 1931 ford model a pickup - It is a full off the frame restoration build - The old slow undependable motor with the no synchronized transmission was removed and replaced with a dependable 4 cyl. Toyota 22R motor from a 1988 pickup with only 88000 miles on it - The motor - transmission - rearend - and all the running gear was removed from the same 1988 toyota pu and installed in the model a pickup - It is now a stock looking very dependable model a pickup that is very light on gas with ( in my opinion with the best dependable engine ever made ) The frame was boxed in and a new complete pete and jake front axle with disk brakes - rack and pinion steering and chrome shocks - on the rear it has a new 4 bar rear suspension kit and stainless panhard bar with adjustable coil - over shock kit - The 22R engine has a polished valve cover and it has a new set of headers - new holly motor craft carburetor - new upholstery - new bed with new tailgate - new steering column - new master and slave cyl. - new brakelines - It also has eletric windows - It has the 1935 ford wire wheels that looks right but are much stronger than the model a - The paint is less than a year old ( gloss black ) - The bed has stained oak boards with stainless strips and all stainless bolts - new tail lights - Halogen headlight bulbs - It has clean Louisiana paper work - It has a lot more new items it is just too many to list - The truck looks and drives great - I have years and over 50.000 invested but because of getting divorced I am forced to sell it - If you have any questions please contact me ph. 318-229-5551 or email me before bidding On Jan-19-13 at 16:53:30 PST, seller added the following information: The winning bidder will be responsible for transportation delivery or pickup - ---- 500.00 payment when bidding is over by pay-pal or contact me for other type payment ---------- The winning bidder will be responsible for the remaining payment with in 7 days after bidding is over On Jan-19-13 at 17:19:22 PST, seller added the following information: Also the old gas tank that was behind the dash has been removed to make room for a vintage air unit if the winning bidder decides to install air condition it could be done easy - the new fuel tank is now located under bed with stainless cap for easy excess - new fuel gauge does work - also has new working temp gauge
