1927 Buick Model 28 Standard 4 Door Sedan “Standard Six 114.5? Series “The Greatest Buick Ever Built” “Introducing a New Era in Motoring” Body by Fischer Body: 19781, Job: 7610, Engine: 24880516 This Antique Buick automobile came to us from the Dry Nevada Climate. It is very well preserved and in excellent running condition. The Inline 6 cylinder starts right up and purrs smooth and strong. The engine is a “Stove Pipe”, 110-horsepower 248 straight-six had a 3.7-inch bore and 3.8-inch stroke and 7.5-1 compression. The oil pressure gauge reads 50 lbs when running. All gauges work proper, including Speedo and Odo. It has the original honeycomb core radiator in very good condition. The exterior is Cream and Black with Buckskin colored interior. A hand painted burgundy stripe accents the body lines. The interior was recently redone, all seats and headliner. The brass headlight rings and lights are a great looking accent to the Buick. Also the running boards are in excellent condition. It has a single downdraft carburetor. The 4 wheel mechanical drum brakes bring it to a stop straight and firmly. The power is put to the wheels through a three speed manual transmission. The original equipment wooden spoke wheels are in excellent condition and are true going down the road. We just installed brand new tires Coker tires of the correct size and pattern. On the inside the original wooden spoke wheel is in excellent condition and the firing advance is correct in operation. The Vinyl roof is clean and free from tears and leaks. In a recent appraisal by the “Auto Appraisal Network” it was rated in good to excellent condition in all categories. The car recently came out of storage after many, many years; it has been in the same family since. It has been checked out and in very good working condition. A copy of the report will come with the car. This will be a great addition to any collection. This is a reliable car to show and cruise.
