Vehicle Detail

1970 911T/E coupe 5-speed (VIN 9110100783) History: I bought this car in early 2011 with the idea of making it MY “Urban Outlaw” Hot Rod. Life has thrown me a curveball so it is with great sadness that I put her up for sale. The previous owner spent a great deal of time and money making this T an E. It seems extremely rare that a guy replacing a T motor would find an E motor of the same year with its original MFI system intact. From E badging to Deep 6 FUCHS, to original Recaro Sport Seats with single-lock tilting bases, this car has all the bits that make it a perfect candidate for completion. Mechanical: The car had not run since 1999 and appears to be a long time Texas car. The engine has strong compression and leakdown #’s. I'll add the numbers tomorrow. Upon learning that the throttle bodies were worn and corroded, I sent them to John at Costa Mesa R&D in California to be restored. Here is the YouTube video of John’s work on my actual throttle bodies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmYB2udKlwQ After installing the newly-restored throttle bodies, I had Adolf Viesel, owner of German Kraft in Bastrop, TX check out the motor, adjust the valves and get it running. I recently drove it home the 45 miles from Bastrop to Austin. Adolf was very confident in the motor and comfortable with me driving it home. The engine leaks no oil and has sat in my garage for months without a drip. The ‘S’ brakes were sent to Eric at PMB for restoration. The calipers, rotors, pads and stainless steel lines all have less than 200 miles I them. $1350 MFI Fuel Pump- New Zims hi-pressure http://www.allzim.com/acatalog/Zims_Replacement_Fuel_Pump_for_911_69-73_w_MFI.html#aZIM_2e608_2e105_2eKITThe gas tank was dipped and sealed with Red Coat.New Master Cylinder Underbody: Car is amazingly dry. There was some prior repair done to the rocker panels and at least one door bottom. The floor pans are solid and the pedal footwell is in great condition. The battery boxes are stellar. The pan section forward of the front tank support will need some attention. Interior: Recaro Sport Seats. Perforated vinyl sides and corduroy centers. I see them as cores but are complete, original and correct. Deep 6 FUCHS: 6/68 w/heart, 1/70, 1/70, 10/70 w/heart General: This is a solid car that needs some care in a few areas to return it to good running condition. The car runs, shifts and brakes well. I am happy to answer any questions whatsoever! I do not want to part it out as I don't have the time nor the energy to do so. I will let the auction go to term. Thanks for looking, Sean racerstock at yahoo dot com Here are a few videos of the car being put through it paces: http://youtu.be/FncHnFU61aw http://youtu.be/syOCvz0MMzw http://youtu.be/jwvWxlNQczE http://youtu.be/UN0C0kdXuFc http://youtu.be/U_g3_T_FEqA http://youtu.be/jN8vPGVjtAE http://youtu.be/DkxK3PSBzAE http://youtu.be/_SxZBNwA6to Legal: This vehicle is being sold as is, where is, with no warranty, written or implied.
