1973.5 Porsche 911T Targa. This 73 is an excellent and very original car. In the second half of 1973 Porsche transitioned from MFI to CIS for fuel delivery, the CIS cars are generally considered the best early car for daily driving. This is an original long time California car with no rust and was delivered in Porsche paint code 936 (metallic sliver). Some of the paint on the car is original and generally shows very well. There are numerous imperfections and several very small spots that have been touched up, I would describe it as good for a driver. The interior is excellent, the front seats recently underwent a complete rebuild and RS door panels have been fitted. The original door panels are included along with the excellent factory door pockets. The dash is nearly perfect, the best early car dash I have seen in a long time and has only one small crack near the top of the speaker grill. Mechanically, the car is excellent and just had a $2500 service that included new shifter bushings, suspension bushings, tie rods, and an alignment. An assortment of other typical service work was done at the same time. The new bushings are the polyurethane units and a bit noisy over bumps. The factory fuchs wheels are in great shape and the tires are nearly new. Mechanically, this 911 is very solid. The motor and gearbox both preform flawlessly, it runs/shifts/brakes/handles as well as any early 911 we have had through. A local viewing is welcome and encouraged with appointment.
