If you have a question please call my cell (845) 987 9267 Up for bid is my 2001 BMW 325i. It has the notorious inline 6 cylinder engine, which is a 2.5Lt and features a 5spd manual transmission and RWD drivetrain. I have had this car registered under a couple of relatives’ names before for insurance purposes. It is hard to see it go but I have decided it is time to buy a newer BMW. It comes equipped with almost every option available for this specific model. I have tastefully made some cosmetic modifications. - 19” M3 staggered wheels with BRAND NEW TIRES. (front)215/35R19 & (rear)235/35R19 - Angel eye HALO headlights/ clear corners - HID headlamps - M3 rear spoiler - M3 front bumper I am a part time electrician for a service station and NYS inspection station and have serviced this car when needed. The interiors are mostly in excellent condition. The driver’s side seat shows more wear and tear, given that I used this car as a daily driver and rode in it unaccompanied for the most part. The rest of the seats look untouched, including trunk. PLEASE NOTE the driver’s side leather seat is worn along seam. That would be the only thing keeping the interiors from mint condition. I have all factory floor mats, and all weather factory floor mats as well. All glass is in good condition as well as all dashboard and electronic components. Heat and air conditioning are in proper working order. The body looks sharp and is free of rust. However, it does have a few minor blemishes that are only noticeable from a very close distance. Right side fender has a small scuff. The hood has a ding next to the BMW emblem. Roof looks bumpy at some parts. Again these are all minor blemishes and it has not being involved in any accidents to the best of my knowledge. Wheels are in good shape. All light work fine including fog lamps. I have taken detailed pictures all around the car for close looks. NOTE: I did not clean this car for the pictures; this is how I kept it and will look much nicer if detailed. Brakes suspension and steering work fine. There are no noises of any type coming from engine, transmission or suspension. The exhaust is also in proper working condition. Within the past few months I have done a tune up, brakes, all struts, and tires. It has recently had the check engine light on. It only shows one code: P1345 MISSFIRE CYL 2 WITH FUEL CUT OFF. The car runs great but I have noted a light misfire when idling. It does not affect the drivability of the car; I have actually driven it like this for about 1000 miles now. It DOES NOT shut off at all and neither does misfire when RPMs are above idle. I read on the forums that it is a somewhat common problem but BMW technicians are the ones likely to find the problem. It also says that it might be a ground problem or a vacuum problem. Anyhow I have not being able to diagnose nor troubleshoot the issue. Like I stated above I did a full tune up (including all coils). I also had my colleagues do a compression test and results were normal and close to even in all 6 cylinders. That is all I have done and will do. I really didn’t put much effort fixing it because it runs pretty well for the most part and driving is really not affected. I was also planning to get a newer BMW since before the code came up, so I will be selling my car AS IS. I am not really looking to spend time or money fixing it because I am ready to move into new ventures. New owner could either take to expert to troubleshoot issue or drive it the way it is. Either way I consider it a nice car and it gets plenty of complements. GOOD LUCK BIDDING! Questions?
