Up for auction is a very nice International Harvester K 6 in original condition. This truck is being offered by the National Automotive and Truck Museum of the U.S.(NATMUS) NATMUS is a 501(c)3 not for profit museum in Auburn Indiana that features vintage cars and trucks. We currently have another truck like this on display and there is no need for two. This vehicle runs and shifts very good. The brakes are a little soft but will stop. The worst part of the truck would be the back of the seat. It will need attention to make your use more comfortable. Overall the cab, fenders and hood sheet metal is in good shape. This truck sports a full wood grain bed which is in very good shape, I do not see any rot. The tires are just so-so, in order to drive very much you should give them some attention. The appraisal on this vehicle rates engine, body,chassis,tires,coachwork,electrical,transmission,paint and chrome all as GOOD. The glass is all flat glass and will (should be) need replacing. The "Owner's and Driver's Manual" refers to it as a Blue-Diamond engine. We hold a clear Indiana title to the truck and would be happy to assist you in anyway we can. It is not good to let a vehicle set and that is the reason we want to pass this onto someone that will use and appreciate it. As you can see in the pictures. We failed to wash and spruce it up for photos (it looks better in person)
