1971 DODGE POLARA 4 DOOR I bought this car with the intention of making it my summer daily driver, but my winter truck needs a new transmission and other work that needs immediate attention. SO, here's your chance to own a nice old Mopar that needs very little work. I've only owned it a few months. The original Polara owners manual as well as a mechanical and body manuals and a detailed log of the original owners notes on caring for the car. The car shifts nice and has a real muscle sound from the recent dual exhaust that was installed not long before I bought it. ( Including the Y pipe ) And the American racing rims are in nice shape as are the tires. ( I have the receipt for the wheels when the previous owner bought them and they were over $1,200 as well as the dual exhaust which was almost $1,000.00) The car has been garage-kept most of its' life, so the body is real nice. 383 Engine with a 727 automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Power Brakes, (Disc in the front), A/C Car. I've recently replaced a bad coil in the engine (which runs great). I just had the gas tank boiled out, repaired, and lined since it had some minor leaks, and I had the left rear door repaired and painted because it had some minor damage. Since I really don't have a long history with this Polara, I am totally selling it " As is " with no warranty implied. All local inspections are most welcome! OR if you have a friend that lives near Denver I would be happy to show the car to them for you. The Dashboard is REALLY nice( They are usually cracked, this one is not ) There is a piece of the lower steering column cover area that has a Big chip of the plastic missing. I think this piece can be had from a 70-71 Fury. The carpet is very good. The front clip appears to have been repaired at some time or another but from the doors back it looks like original paint minus the left rear door. The paint is Very good too! The vinyl roof is quite nice and is near mint condition without a single crack or spilt anywhere. (at least I couldnt find one) The optional Rear window defrost works. And the rear package tray is near mint as well. Here's a small list of stuff that I inspected when I first got the car that need attention: The windshield has a dime-size chip in it,the inside rear- view mirror has 2 cracks in it, the radio does not work, the A.C. will need work.
