You are bidding on a 1988 Honda CRX Si that is in amazingly original condition. I purchased this car from the original owner and have extensive documentation on the car from the time it was new, including the original window sticker, sales brochure, and just about every receipt. This car was treated with Ziebart Rustproofing when it was new and I have the receipt showing annual reinspection and retreatment. It appears to have made a significant difference as I have not seen a CRX in better condition in at least a decade. The photos show the plugs where the rustproofing was applied. The car has approximately 179,600 miles and has had absolutely no mechanical modifications. New alternator at 150,363 miles. The timing belt and water pump were replaced at 152,800 miles. The clutch and flywheel and transmission fluid were replaced at 156,053 miles. The radiator was replaced at the end of November. The valves were adjusted last week. The brakes (all four corners) are brand new. New rotors, new pads, new drums, new shoes and new fluid. The interior has no tears, though the driver's seat cushion is worn. The tires are in excellent condition. The HVAC control panel has cracked and was repaired with epoxy. This is a common repair on CRXs. The front bumper cover was replaced at one point and it has what I believe is a Mugen (Honda) front spoiler. The whole car was repainted once in 2002 in its original color. I have a clear Connecticut title. You would have a hard time finding a more original CRX Si in this kind of condition. The car is located in Connecticut. You can pick it up in person or make your own arrangements for shipping at your expense. Please get an estimate before bidding. I have sold several vehicles through eBay and have never had a disappointed buyer. I believe in being fair and very descriptive of the car's condition so that you understand what you are bidding on.
