This is the ACTUAL MOVIE CAR built for the Summer 2012 hit movie "Step Up Revolution" . You can also find more Youtube videos showing this car by searching for "STEP UP LOWRIDER" CLEAR TITLE The GOOD: This car was built specifically for the movie, along with a few others, by a professional lowrider shop in Miami Florida. The paint and hydraulic setup was built just for the movie, and was basically just used for one day of filming and testing. 3 pumps 10 batteries, with date code 2011. Over $2000 just in batteries. Champiro wide whitewall tires with less than 5 miles on them. Still have the nubs on the tires. You wont find another hopper out there used this little. Its never been in any hopping contests or competitions, so you could be the first. Everything was reinforced - the frame, the rearend are heavily reinforced with steel. Even the hood trunk and roof were reinforced with fiberglass from underneath , so the dancers could perform on them without denting the car. The front and rear windshields are plexiglass, so you wont get broken glass when hopping. The body panels were also protected with "clear bra" vinyl wrap so it would not get scratched. That will also help ensure it doesnt get scratched up during shipping to you! These movie cars were all good running cars, to prepare them the lowrider shop removed the drivetrain so the cars could hop higher. They are on a pallet for easy transport. I assume its a 283 and powerglide, probably original to the car. The BAD: .The drivetrain is sitting on a pallet and you need to reinstall , unless you want to keep it as just a hopper. Since it was a movie car and they were only concerned about the exterior, the interior was not customized. It was stripped bare for lightness and has only the front bench seat.
