This an extremely nice 1966 Rambler American 440 Convertible. Only 3,882 made. Runs as good as it looks very smooth running. Very very clean original interior. Very clean convertible top. It has a very clean 304 CID V8 motor with 4 barrel carb.. Super clean engine compartment. Speedometer shows 20,000 miles but is not represented as original. The 304 V8 engine replaced the original straight 6 engine the new engine has very low miles. The transmission is an automatic floor shift. The interior and dash is surprisingly nice for original. It has like new genuine wire wheels with like new tires. This car is an attention getter!! You may pick up and drive home, or I will assist if you hire a shipper. There will be close ups of the door edges, rockers, trunk, underside, engine compartment etc.. I installed a new 84 month NAPA battery today. The car started with a click of the switch tonight after 2 months of not being started and ran very very smooth. No bidders have come to look at this car. I had hoped people would come to look at it as it is very nice. I noticed today that the plug wires have grounded mesh covers and appear to be expensive. A neighbor mechanic came over to check the type of transmission for me and he said it looks like a 727A. He said they are very strong. The car comes with a rambler Convertible 440 wall clock, a sales brochure/magazine with this model car being the centerfold, the owners manual, the original radiator and manual fan.
