When I found this truck I was actually buying it to sell as I am a licensed used car dealer. However, after driving it I fell in love with this truck and decided to title and tag it in my name to keep as a personal truck. We have a small camper and a boat and my old truck was just getting a bit tired....and this is just such a great truck so it was really a pretty easy decision for me. Well, as often happens, life changes and due to some of these changes I'm really not in need of a truck of this caliber. I had considered just letting it sit for whenever I need a pickup, but it's honestly too nice of a truck to just let it sit most of the time. Besides, I usually have a pickup truck in stock and I can use one of those if I need to. So after debating with myself for a few months about what to do I've decided to list it here. Someone is about to buy one heck of a nice truck! The interior is in VERY nice condition with only minor wear and tear. When I first bought it the center console lid had some wear on it, but my local upholstery shop did their usual excellent job and interior is just exceptionally nice. This is a non-smokers truck and the best I can tell it always has been. I had a set of Husky brand floor/mud mats put in it to protect the carpet, and under the mats the carpet is in very nice shape. The exterior of the truck is equally impressive with only a few minor scrapes and a very small dent in the right lower corner of the rear bumper. I showed that dent in the pics as it's barely noticeable...and I'm VERY picky about those kinds of things. The truck has had some paint work and Carfax does report an accident, but it must have a been fairly minor because the body panels are original and they line up perfectly. All the doors and windows are tight and work like new, the hood and tailgate are both lined up perfectly too. With the Motorsports wheels and the Bridgestone Dualler 10 ply AT tires, this truck turns heads! I get compliments on it all the time...I'm going to miss that. The truck had straight piped 4" exhaust on it when I got it, I like it, but if the buyer wanted a muffler on it that could be arranged prior to pickup or delivery. But it sounds great! I also purchased a Superchips tuner which increases fuel mileage and performance. That does come with the truck too. When I first decided to keep it I decided to make sure the transmission (the weak link on these trucks) was going to be problem free. I told my local diesel performance shop to do whatever it needed. They drove it for a day or two and then pulled the transmission to inspect it, they said it had already had a lot of money spent on it and that it has a billet torque converter in it so they recommended doing nothing to it. And it drives like a dream in every way! This truck goes straight down the road with no pulling, no pulsing in the brakes or brake noises. The engine has ZERO blow by and doesn't use a drop of Rotella between oil changes. There is no smoke on startup, even after sitting for a week! Every light, button and accessory in this truck works properly. The AC is ice cold! It's just a no excuses, ready to go truck that needs nothing more than a new owner that's ready to go to work or play! If you have any questions please ask them before you place a bid.
