This is an original 1966 bug that has been garage stored since 1999.It was a daily driver by the lady who bought it new in 66'. The original bill of sale is in the pics. In 1999 she bought the "new" beetle and her husband was going to make the 66' a restoration project. I bought the car in 2012 when her husbands health worsened. The car has surface rust on the doors and rust holes on the rear quarters. He had already purchased replacement quarters that you can see hanging in my photo. The interior is very nice in the white/red combination. The drivers seat has a tear along the seat seam that can be repaired easily. The front floor mats are ok but not perfect. The floor pans are solid and so is the battery box. All the glass is original, owners manual in glove box, never smoked in, wiper blades(pic), spare tire and tool kit,etc. ORIGINAL. The car has several sets of hubcaps, some replacement bumpers that are not as nice as the ones on the car. The heater box is out, plug wires/belt off. Engine turns over fine by hand,oil is good,still is 6 volt. It has 104,083 on the 1300. Have all parts to the car plus aftermarket parts that came with it. Headlights are perfect and the tires have good tread.The vehicle came from the factory with Leatherette interior,R.O. Windows,White Walls. Dealer installed were: Undercoat, Radio, Seat Belts, and Mirror. The vehicle is being sold as-is and shipping or pick up is the buyers responsibility.
