1955 CHEVROLET 2 DOOR STATION WAGONMODERN FRONT SUSPENSIONMODERN 10 BOLT REAR WITH 3.08 GEARSPOWER STEERINGPOWER DISC BRAKESTILT WHEELINCLUDED IN THE SALE ARE THE PARTS NEEDED TO FINISH THE AIR CONDITIONING, CRUISE CONTROL, AND POWER WINDOWS.ALL OF THE GLASS IS NEW, EXCEPT FOR THE REAR CURVED PIECES NO RESERVE NO RESERVE NO RESERVE Offered for sale is a very rare Chevy 2 Door Wagon. There are many sedans, hardtops, sedan deliveries, and convertibles...but only a few two door wagons. As you can see in the photos, a lot of the hard work has been finished. It cruises nicely at 80 due to the modern high geared rear end, and the engine and transmission work perfectly. It starts easily and idles well. The transmission engages quickly and shifts smoothly. It has a new wiring harness, all new gauges, and all of the lights work. The wipers are a little slow, but I've only turned them on to make sure they work. I've never driven it in the rain. As you can see in the photos, it's had a few different looks. It has had the windows tinted as you see in the later photos, and has the wheels you see in the last photo. The whitewall tires have been sold, and the 18" and 20" Coys are not on it. I repeat...it has the wheels on it as seen in the last photo. I planned on doing a LS2 conversion with an overdrive, but I used that set up for a different car and this car never got modified. It came from Oklahoma, so it's not a northern car that is destroyed underneath. The body supports are in excellent shape, and the floors look good too. The spare tire well is excellent, and overall, its a very solid car needing a good home and someone to finish it. It will need a headliner and carpet, both of which can be bought on ebay or through a number of suppliers. I had planned on putting four modern bucket seats in, with a long console up the middle, but I never got around to it. Door panels are easy to make since they are flat. Since I never got around to installing the seats, it didn't make sense to finish the other stuff. I wanted it all to match. I know I won't finish this car anytime soon. I have a 1967 Camaro RS/SS being painted, a 1968 Nova waiting for paint after it, and a 1965 Riviera getting a new interior. It will be awhile before they are done, and this car is behind all of them. I'd rather have the cash and space, so it's being offered at NO RESERVE. I reserve the right to end the auction early if a real serious buyer steps up and makes me an offer I can't refuse. If no one does that...then the high bidder will own it. I'd like to see it go to a good home where it will be finished. It sold twice on ebay earlier in the year, but both high bidders never responded and never came to see the car. I'd rather not deal with anyone who doesn't have the money and is just playing around. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY. Trades are possible, but if you live too far away, it will only complicate things. I will assist with shipping, but it will be your expense. I can deliver the car locally for free (within 100 miles), but anything further than that will be your responsibility. The car is located about 90 miles south of Tampa in Port Charlotte, Florida 33953. I live about 2 miles from I-75 (exit 170) and can meet your shipper there to make it easier. A non-refundable deposit will be required within 24 hours, unless other arrangements have been made and agreed upon before the auction ends. Please, lets not waste each others time. Don't miss out on a chance to own a rare car at NO RESERVE. You can contact me through eBay, or email me at northshorebill@aol. com. I added a space between aol. and com to cut down on spam, so please correct that before you email me. You can also call or text me at 941-74-22 seven seven. Thanks for looking, and Happy Bidding On Dec-23-12 at 18:47:38 PST, seller added the following information: The correct phone number 941-740-2277. I left the "0" out in the ad. Sorry for the confusion.
