To those of you who know these 1st generations Insight- this car runs and drives excellent. The motor fires right up and it sounds healthy. The main batteries are charging up 100% as they should. The 5-speed manual transmission shifts perfectly smooth. There are no thro out bearing problems, no slippages no grinds and the clutch grabs strong. The aluminum body as you know will never rust, because it is so light it gets such good fuel mileage of up to 61-70 MPG. I personally put 50 miles on the car and I averaged 56+ MPG, not bad. The whole car inside out is very clean and well kept. No annoying lights, no service reminders, no check engine on dash... Over all a perfect Insight, no surprises no disappointments!
