For sale we have a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 4x4 featuring the reliable 6.6L Duramax Turbo Diesel attached to the 5-Speed automatic Allison transmission. This truck runs, drives, handles excellent. The 6.6L Duramax engine fires right up regardless of how cold it is and it sounds very healthy. The truck does not smoke and there is no blow-by smoke either. The 5-Speed automatic allison tranny shifts perfect. The 4WD goes in and out as it should. The truck has 6 new tires. The outside body is very clean. The interior is very clean as well. The truck has a very EXPENSIVE Omaha Utility body. The OSV gives you large outside storage compartments and a roomy interior work space with shelves for additional cargo. The optional rear conduit chute provides for interior storage of pipe, conduit, and other materials up to 10 feet in length. The undercarriage and the frame of the truck are rock solid with no rot. Over all this Chevy has been very well taken care of, it is very clean inside out, mechanically is perfect and it is ready for work! With 100-K miles this motor hasn't even broken in yet.
