This charger was originally a police car, so it has all of the police package upgrades but it has been painted, and modified to look like a clean civilian charger, but still have the police upgrades. This charger was just professionally painted high gloss “Straight Black”. The bodywork performed before hand consisted in welding the holes from the lights and brackets to make the body seamless and straight, no ugly plugs or patches like many former police cars have. The body is straight and the paint shines and reflects very nicely. The side moldings were deleted and shaved and Hemi interceptor badges were added giving it very sleek look. This Charger has a very mean and aggressive look, and has the performance to back it up. The 5 speed transmission shifts properly and smooth, and the Tiptronic option works properly. Car handles very well, drives down the road smooth and the brakes are strong. Continental tires have good tread as well. The interior is very clean for a police car, with cloth bucket seats up front a bench rear seat. The front seats are in good condition with the exception of a very small tear in driver’s seat shown in pictures, and the rear bench seat is almost like new, very clean. A center console from a SXT model charger was added to give some storage space, cup holders etc. The floors are vinyl for very easy cleaning. Being a police car the rear doors cannot be opened from the inside but that is an easy fix. The rear power windows and locks still work normally, the inside door handles are just disconnected. The A/C blows cold, and the heater is hot. All interior components work properly including dome lights etc. This Charger is ready to drive and needs nothing. This definitely isn’t your average Charger; this is a heavy duty, high performance and sleek version of a Dodge Charger that is a clean comfortable daily driver.
