Vehicle Detail
This is a 1984 Chevy Monte Carlo with 62,000 original kilometers. I bought this car from the grandson of the lady who bought the car new.He was able to verify the entire history of the car. The car was used its entire life for local in town trips. By 2008 his grandmother no longer drove and the car was parked in the garage. Since buying the car I have performed regular maintenance which included an oil change, coolant exchange and transmission service. I have been driving the car daily and it runs and drives very well. It is equipped with a chevrolet 305ci V8 engine which operates very smoothly. The transmission shifts well. The brakes and power steering have no issues. The interior is in exceptional condition for it's age with very little signs of wear of any kind. All the glass is in good condition. The car is solid and free of rust. The paint looks very good with no noticable fade or imperfections other than the odd rock chip. The vinyl roof is still in good condition. Overall a very classy low milage Monte Carlo that runs and drives very well. *** Auction rules clarification *** IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING *** OK I thought buying a car on EBAY is pretty straight forward but apparantly there are a whole lot of EBAY'ers out there that think it is perfectly acceptable to bid on vehicles and then change their minds after they have won the car or else they feel that they can bid on a car and once they have bought it think they can negotiate their own terms of the sale or negotiate a better price because the shipping will cost them more than they anticipated. So I will be very clear about this, I have listed the car with a reserve price. The reserve is the lowest price I am willing to sell the car for. It is not the price I would like to see and not the price I would do a "buy it now" for but the lowest price I will sell it for. If you are interested in a "but it now" price e-mail me and I can add a "buy it now" price for you. If you are the high bidder on my auction and end up winning the auction because my reserve price was met I expect a $500 deposit within 24 hours from the end of the auction via paypal and I expect the balance to be payed within 5 days. PERIOD!!! If that is something you are unable or unwilling to do then don't bid on my car. If you are in any way unsure about any aspect of buying this vehicle then don't bid on my car!!!
