The 1969 Ford Torino GT was Ford's sporting intermediate, part of the newly named upper series in the restyled Fairlane line. The more muscular chassis continued to set the GT apart from the "family" Torinos. The sleek fastback
two-door hardtop proved very slippery -- and very successful -- in long-distance stock car races.
Our H code model has the 2 barrel 250 HP 351 Windsor motor. The car has been in our collection since 2008 and not driven. It starts and runs but should not be driven home. It needs a full mechanical inspection.
The driver’s window doesn’t raise or lower, the regulator is in the trunk. The wiper arms are missing and the windshield is cracked. The rear windshield needs a new gasket. There is rust on the driver’s door sill, on the bumper and the wheel well. The steering wheel is cracked and the headliner has been removed.
The trim pieces for the rear quarter panels are in the trunk, the mounting studs on the car can be seen in the photos.
