Vehicle Detail

Very good shape 1978 Dodge 4x4 pickup with a 318 automatic. I bought it to fix up, but like most men, I have too many toys to work on and not enough money to complete all the projects. This truck runs and I have mainly driven it around my yard. I have driven it on the road, but only a couple of miles. This is a project truck and no guarantee on drivability due to the age and unknown mechanical condition. It starts with a shot of starting fluid if you let it set a week, but it does start. I have a starting price but will consider a reasonable offer. I do not want to trade for anything (too many projects now). True milage unknown. On Dec-10-12 at 06:12:03 PST, seller added the following information: There is rust on this truck Around the doors and the bed has rust holes. The windshield is cracked (I think you can see this in a couple of pictures). I would not recommend driving this truck home even though I have driven it on the road, all the lights do not work (brake lights), and again I am not sure of the mechanical parts, brakes, steering, transmission, etc... I did not buy to drive, I wanted to fix it up before I drove it. Just ask, and I will send anyone pictures. Let me know what parts of this truck you want to see and I will email them to you. Thank you all for your interest in the truck. Well over 1000 views and over 40 watchers. This truck will make a nice base start project to start from. I found this truck in South Carolina, so a southern truck with very little rust for the age. The under carriage does not look like a 34 year old truck. I have seen a lot of northern trucks rust through all over after 10 years, but not this one. One area above the passenger rear tire and the bed are the only sections I see that has rusted through.
