- This is a ONE owner original VW car. It came out of the Carolinas, it has NO RUST, only one fender was repainted. There is one seat where the horsehair is showing. It will need a new seat cover on the front driver side. This is the ONLY defect on this car. The floor pan is "perfect" and the original paint is still on the inside and out of it. I purchased this car seven years ago and I only drive it in parades and in few car shows. It is stored inside constantly. It runs and drives as good as it was when it was new. I was a mechanic for the VW garage in the early 70's, so I know what I am talking about when it comes to VW's. If you want an original car that is in very very good condition, this is the car for you. You do not need to do anything to this car. It is only a 28K mileage car. It does have a few dings that are hard to see, but it is not noticable, but I am not going to cover anything up on this car. It shines with the original paint. This car shows very good for being 47 years old and being all original. You would be proud to drive this car around town. You will get lots of LOOKS while you are driving this "punch bug".
