Santa's sleigh for sale. This very pretty 1967 Triumph tr4A is up for sale. It has had much work done over the years the body is rust free and has lovely shiny bright paint. the underside again if free from any holes or major rust and has been fully weather proofed to keep out any bad weather. The brakes stop the car as they should and have been overhauled with a new master cylinder. The cars suspension works as it should and goes round corners great and runs straight to. It has had the windshield replaced last year and so has new rubbers in there including the frame to body one. The motor runs great not knocks or unexpected rattles. The car starts just fine and has good oil pressure. it has dual carbs but I guess they all did. I am not very technical when it comes to cars so please don ask anything too technical or I will just stare blankley at you in reply. The tires are all good there is a spare. the trans is fine has all the gears and does not whine like my wife does. the rear end is also good (better than my wife's also).. Sorry I do babble on a little. so lets go this way.. Good.. Great body nice paint, Strong running motor and tranny. the underside is good too it is weather proofed and solid. Great clutch Its hydraulic so really easy to push. new exotic wood Dash. All bright chrome. has the nice wire wheels. All the glass is good, seats good carpet great fun fun car to drive. New tonneau cover, Clear Title. The bad... There is not vinyl roof. Did I say new Tonneau cover? what I thought I had ordered was a new roof was actually a new tonneau cover. I do have the frame and is in super condition. The wipers and signals are currently inoperable due to my grandchild deciding to climb into the car while parked in the garage. which normally would be fine however he decided to use the wiper switch as a means to pull himself in by. somehow it simply came off in his hand.. since then the wipers obviously stopped working along with the signals. There is no radio or antenna. I took off the door seals planning on replacing them this is not yet done either. I have lost the two little covers for the tiny lights on the fender the small orange round ones. I had spinal surgery about the time all this happened so I really don't know what happened to them. Which leads me to why I am selling the wonderful machine. I am no longer able to enjoy this vehicle since some major surgery along with moving to a warmer climate. So please only bid if you have the means to pay promptly I will require a small deposit within 24 hours of the auction close and full payment within three days of the sale. I can store the car for a while longer and will be happy to work with your shipper. These cars have become a collectors item and prices are creeping up again so don't miss out on this wonderful beauty. Please ask any questions you may have. Hopfully the weather will be better tomorrow. Also I have had a few people asking questions about the car. this is not a show car nor is it a bucket of rust all the floors are solid no rust. However as stated before the car does need a few odd and ends nothing too major. The motor does not smoke rattle knock or anthing else it should not. On Dec-15-12 at 23:37:20 PST, seller added the following information: I just added more pictures we still have weather here I was hoping for some sunshine to take pictures in but we have snow. I found a few flaws when poking arround the car for more pictures .. its funny how you miss small things. There in a small whole on the drivers seat on the back. I have included a picture of that. aslo the parking brake button is missing I think my grandchild may have had somthing to do with these things also..There aeater switched are not connected on the dash because there are no holes in the console. I dont think that was the kid. I do have another center console and the nobs to connect up again. This one has a triumph radio in there. I assume the heater controls where not installed to make room for a cd player. Well the car is faily old and will need a little love along the way but dont we all. There will be small thing there that need some attention but all the major stuff is super..I hope you have a great Sunday and thanks for reading through my babble.
