Offered for sale is an awesomely fast, incredibly quick 1977 Corvette. It started life as a regular slow, underpowered Corvette from the late 70's. Two years ago, the owner put in a LS1 and an automatic overdrive transmission. After working all of the bugs out of it, he decided to upgrade to a LS2 and 6 speed from an 06 GTO. As you may already know, the GTO got the better T-56, like the Viper did. The engine had about 19,000 miles on it when the GTO was wrecked, and the owner of the Corvette estimated that he has put on a few thousand miles...but either way, it's a low mile beast that is ready for the road or track. The stock Corvette rear is still geared for the highway, so it will absolutely fly in 5th and 6th gear. It has a whole lot of new parts: all new suspension, to include just about every bushing, seal, bearing, and gasket you could imagine. All new brakes with painted calipers, all new wheels and tires (18x8 on the front, 19x10 on the rear), all new headers and true dual exhaust, new Air Conditioning, all new stereo, all new interior, a new radiator...and on and on and on. You get the idea. Lots of new stuff means you don't have to do anything. To those of you it matters to, the car was originally Corvette Yellow...1 of 71 that color in 1977. If you wanted to go back to original, it would be a rare color with amazing upgrades. Drive anywhere, do it quickly, and do it comfortably. You could drive this car back home any distance without any worries. So, all in all, it's a fast car that has all of the expensive and hard work done. Drive it like it is, or continue on with it and make it more wicked. Your choice. I doubt there is another one out there like it for under $20,000. You couldn't duplicate it for that price.
