1973 Chevy Caprice Classic Convertible, Named Leo. 454cu big block with an Edelbrock Preformer 2.0 aluminum intake and a Holley 4bbl carb. Chrome covers and air cleaner. Motor redone at 80,000 miles. new Trans at the same time with shift kit. motor is performance parts but not cammed out. stock a/c, pwr steering, brakes,am/fm cassette, stock gauges, etc. Restored over time in the Mid 90's and garaged since 2000. Interior is white on black. stock bench seats re-upholstered white vinyl, stock door panels frnt/rear, new black carpet. trunk not carpeted. Exterior is custom black with blue pearl and white top ( need replaced due to vandals), new convt. top boot never used included! He has some minor body issues along drivers side from being sideswiped this past summer, front clip has dent due to hoodlatch malfunction and left rear quarter repairs are showing there age. all need attention. Tires are Eagle ST new in 1995 on stock chevy rims with Authentic Chevy wire spoke caps!! Leo is a sweet ride ! Has been stored from 1999 up until 2007 when i began driving him in the summers. He is a definite long haul cruiser and a smooth ride. He FLOATS down the road ! Due to gas prices and weather i do not drive him often enough. He belongs in the sunshine... If you look closely you can see he is showing his age, as we all are. Some of his resto work needs redone, a new top, paint touched up, stock exhaust reworked, etc but he is a solid car. i have to sell for the money and space. Since purchased in 1990 i have invested over $12,000 in him, not including regular liscense / insurance. He currently books for $8,000 as he sits. hate to see him go but...go he must. :-(
